Tellence was among the sponsors of the 2018 Communications Conference

The Tellence company name is not a stranger to big communication events taking place all over the world. Therefore, it was clear as day that we would rush to back an international conference organized in Romania. We are talking about the 12th edition of the International Conference on Communications, an event that gathers all major players on the market to discuss the current situation of the industry and its proper course. Tellence joined other companies with a great stake in the future of communications.

The 12th International Conference on Communications

The event which took place this June was organized by the Polytechnics University of Bucharest and the Ferdinand I Military Technical Academy. The two institutions are known for producing some of the finest communications professionals for the Romanian and international markets. Be it communication technology, radio communications or computer intelligence, technics or programming, it is easy to understand why such institutions would like to keep ahead in the game and know how to update and improve their curricula.

The companies willing to back up this process are interested in securing some of these well-trained professionals for their own work force for future years. This is how an industry is built and developed. And it all starts with specialized talks.

Conference Topics

Among the discussion highlights during the June 14th – 16th conference, we mention some of the topics we found to be most intriguing:

  1. Communication Theory
  2. Computational Intelligence
  3. Communication Networks and Systems
  4. Radio Communication Technologies
  5. Wireless Communications
  6. Satellite and Space Communications
  7. Multimedia Communications
  8. Internet Technologies
  9. Communication Security
  10. Network Operations and Management
  11. Communication Strategies and Development
  12. Electronic Systems Design

We believe that only by having a great understanding of the industry, can we aspire to think ahead and meet some of the future challenges in advance. And for this, such events are vital. Testament to this is the large number of sponsors, all willing to make the conference happen. Because it is a must!

The Tellence Take on Communications

With so much of the present day technological advances being directed toward the communications sphere, Tellence is bound to have its own take on the matter. For starters, according to Leo Radu, Managing Partner with Tellence Technologies, today’s consumers think in terms of both products and services. This means that any company must double its efforts to produce something viable for the market, as well as to provide the services for maintenance and support.

What is more, we believe in having a serious contribution to the development of the industry by backing events that bring professionals together to discuss the challenges and opportunities of each market. This, in turn, leads to partnering with research institutions that have made a name for themselves through their work. Such an example would be the CTTC for ESA application.

As far as an expected market evolution goes, Leo Radu stated that it is important to constantly keep an eye on communications as they are critical for growth, innovation and disruption across multiple industries. Nothing gets done, nor evolves, without it.

Tellence Technologies Is Connecting with Businesses from Other Markets

This spring, Tellence Technologies has been a name heard in some of the most exciting IT events in the world. Company representatives have presented our services and products during events in Quatar, Kuwait, and Australia, in some of the most challenging business festivals.

Tellence in Qatar

Smart Qatar is an event intended to deliver technology and innovation for sustainable economic development in five important sectors: transport, logistics, natural resources, healthcare, and sports. During this event, the Qatar Digital Cluster was set up to raise funds necessary for bringing innovation to the aforementioned sectors. Also, in order to ensure the success of these projects of public interest, the decision makers at the top of the Government assure their full support and involvement.

During this event, Tellence representatives attended seminars and made business connections with delegates from the Qatar Transportation and Communications Ministry and from the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Apart from learning about the priorities for the people of Qatar, discussions with other participants revealed just how much IT innovation can help improve the lives of these communities in all aspects, from healthcare, to food, transportation, businesses, and sports. It gave us a sense of how important our work is for so many people.

Tellence in Kuwait

The focus of the Kuwait event was on strong technology intended for governance and risk management for businesses in order to reduce costs and improve decision making processes. The purpose of the event was to analyze the impact of businesses and to reduce overall risks.

During this business festival, Tellence attended the seminars and met with delegates from the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, from the Central Agency for Information Technology, and from the Ministry of Public Works.

With this participation, we made good use of the know-how we have accumulated over the years and we showed how it could be put to good use for businesses in a particular context.

Tellence in Australia

The Australian CeBIT is an event designed to bring the grandeur of the Hanover event to the Pacific region and to connect some of the countries in the area with great innovation and software. Tellence was part of the Romanian delegation and has established important connections with potential clients from that part of the world. The purpose of our participation was that of better understanding the regional market and to see whether we can meet these needs with anything in our portfolio or how we can improve it to do so.

We wanted to create a bridge to connect with people whose needs in IT and software development are different. Not to mention the fact that the vicinity to India makes it even more challenging for any company to break through.

During this event we presented our IT services and the Tellence NMS, a network management platform. This last item sparked a lot of interest as it is a system designed to allow Service Providers to keep their infrastructure and virtual networks in check while reducing maintenance costs. The platform works on networks of any size, it is quick to implement and easy to use.

Gaining the Competitive Edge with the Right Professional and Innovative Projects – The Tellence Technologies Way

Tellence Technologies is a company dedicated to bringing innovative systems and programs into every collaboration. The company has been on the market since 2011, it has evolved around every obstacle and it has risen with every opportunity. This could not have been possible without having the right people on board and without offering the newest processes for their clients.

You are only as good as the team you surround yourself with. This means that a high performing company will only remain at the top if its efforts to grow are backed by getting the right people into the right positions.

What we do, at Tellence Technologies, is that we bring new technologies, new programs, and new processes to every market. This means that we are not only looking for people who know how to code, but we are looking for people who are adaptable. Experience is important, but the possibility of seeing beyond basic requirements is more important. This is a prerequisite of INNOVATION.” Lavinia Spinu, HR Manager and responsible with recruiting for the company in Romania commented.

The company environment

In the seven years we have been on the market, our efforts went into developing a work flow with a solid foundation laid down in research and development. This means putting innovation above mere execution and bringing people into an efficient team.

Organic growth for the company

Since its establishment, the company has known a steady and, most importantly, organic growth. This was only possible with a correct distribution of internal resources. Tellence Technologies has created separate divisions for Automotive, Telecommunications, Security, SatCom, Mobile applications, New media & Broadcasting & Semiconductors. The creation of the separate divisions has helped our employees train and specialize in specific fields and it has attracted people with the right skills on the team. Consistent interest in development is key.

Top human resources

Getting some of the best engineers also means keeping the best engineers. It implies putting them on challenging projects and investing in them. Romania is a great market for IT professionals and a great place to invest in programming. The foundation is already laid down. All you need is the knowledge to make things grow.

Tellence Technologies has the very well-established goal of bringing innovative projects and state of the art technology closer to clients. Therefore, we offer amazing growth opportunities for employees and impeccable delivery of finished projects for clients.

Apart from the code, we know that clients see their projects as a whole. It is of no use to come up with brilliant and beautiful code if the delivery of the project is not complete. Therefore, we do our best to offer the full package and to take care of all aspects of every task at hand. So our clients won’t have to.
